The purpose of my writing is, I want to share about my experience that i get from enjoy the dinner at Laman Grill Restaurant. My objective is, I want to persuade people to go to that restaurant to enjoy the meals. On 30th March 2012, i was give the opportunities to have the
dinner at the famous Masterchef's Restaurant who is Chef Zubir. I think it was the interesting
moment because we have a trip to Shah Alam for 3 days. I want to wish thank you
to Miss Anida Ismail anad Chef Khairul Hidayat Rezo because they make our
dream become true. The experience that I was get when enter to the restaurant,
I feel that we can be a successful person even we decide to starting the
business from the scratch. I was really speechless when i arrive to the
restaurant because i cannot expect to meet that famous chef.
The
background of the owner is, his real name who is Zubir Bin Md Zain or Chef
Zubir. He already 45 years old and still look young. He also
become Coach and Team Leader for the team chef is
always high-spirited Malaysia to ensure the success
of his people in all participated, cooking
competition. Chef Zubir get
the education in Chef Training Diploma at MARA
Institute of Technology in 1988. The education that
he obtained would not be wasted when a lecturer at the
same institute, now known as Universiti Teknologi
MARA, Malaysia. In addition, Chef Zubir has gained
experience under the supervision of Chef Anton Anton Mossiman Mossiman in ExclusiveDining Club Belgrave Square, London. He
has worked as Executive Sous Chef at Le Meridien Hotel, Kuala Lumpur as well as
working on other top hotels in the capital. Chef Minogue are also involved in
the international arena in cooking in Japan, Austria, America and Singapore but
for the existence. Chef Zubir has brought honor to the country in several
cooking competitions abroad. He became captain and coach and team manager for
Malaysia to Worldskill Cooking Competition, Excel London, Food & Hotel Asia
Culinary Challenge, Singapore and won 2 silver medals and Junior Asian Chef
Challenge, Indonesian Salon Culinaire, Food & Hotel Indonesia and win
medals gold and the overall winner. Chef Zubir has brought
honor to the
country in several cooking competitions abroad.He

When I was eaten at Laman Grill Restaurant, I can see that
the ambiance of the restaurant is look
elegant and more to casual dining. I can describe that the
deco for that restaurant is also suitable for family event. It is because the
restaurant not too much decoration and the lighting is not too heavy. So that,
the guests will enjoy their foods. I also can feel that the arrangement of the
restaurant is not too complex because it will make the workers and customers to
move freely. Inside the restaurant, it has a bar and main kitchen that
separately each other. The specialty of the restaurant is all the chef that was
cook in main kitchen is totally was monopoly by men.
At 8.00 pm, I was been served with the main course which is
The Laman New Version Marbled Chicken Chop. It was ovenbaked layered
chicken terrine, crispy cornflakes coated chicken drumstick chop, smoked
chicken with potato quiche serve with wilted vegetables and wild mushroom
sauce. The price for a plate which is RM25.50. I can describe that the
decoration for the dish is not too heavy. The chef also concern with the
nutrition in his dish, so that he was put also the vegetables to complete the
nutritional values. It looks very delicious and I will not miss the opportunity
to try it. I think it was the excellent main course that i had. The texture,
colour and the taste is really different and i cannot forget it until now.
Next, after i finish my main course, i was served with the Tiramisu Cake for
the dessert. It refers to the mascarpone mousse layered with coffee soaked
aponge cake. The price for the dessert is RM12.50. The specialty of the dessert
is I feel that the Tiramisu Cake is covered with expensive cream cheese and it
was server in a small portion. I think it was quiet expensive but it was
affordable because I guarantee it will not disapointed you.
